The mayor is making news this morning. He's calling for architects to design smaller apartments in New York City. There's nothing like a good laugh with your first cup of coffee.
I've lived in a 300 sq.ft. apartment for nine years. And since I'm writing this, it's clear that I've survived. I don't recommend it, but it works. I am happy. But don't be confused - I could be happier -- 600 sq. ft., a washer/dryer, and a dish washer.
Mr. Mayor, you move first. I'm sure many will follow.
But look at it this way -- the article points out that a 300 sq. ft. apartment is four times bigger than a jail cell.
See. It could be worse.
