I need a minute. Maybe two. Really. How can some things be so highly organized and efficient here, and then
other things be in an utter state chaos? My days start really well. The alarm goes off at 5:30. I spend about half an hour in the gym, and then
another 30 minutes in the pool. I'm enjoying swimming laps more than ever. Then it's time for the breakfast buffet, which conveniently located by the
pool. The hostess knows me already. And then I eat. I love a buffet. You
know this. My colleague comes down and joins me, and I eat some more. It would be rude
for her to eat alone, right? Across the pool, I notice people already claiming the chairs in the full sun
at 8 o'clock. We hop in a cab around 8:30. That's the last moment of peace until the next
time we get in a cab headed in the opposite direction. Last night when I got to the hotel, I went down to the pool and ordered a
cold beer. And it was good. And I think I'll need another one this evening. Ok. Gotta go. Chaos is lurking outside the door.
