Weathermen are the worst. Five minutes before I left my apartment, I clearly heard Bill Evans on ABC say "The rains have moved North and West of the city." I opted for my small, compact umbrella and threw it in the bottom of my bag.
I stepped out of my building and the most hellacious flood I've seen in a while dumped right on me. I took cover in a nearby awning for a while.
The rain let up, and I moved on. It came again as I approached Broadway. Blowing, howling rain.
Wet. Wet. Wet.
So Bill Evans, which city were you referring to? Atlantic City?
Idiot.
