I got tipped off yesterday that the Wall Street protestors were on their way to Washington Square Park. I was in Whole Foods at the time. I've never seen a full blown protest, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Honestly, I don't really know what it accomplishes. But some are really into it and that's okay.
While I was anticipating the mass chaos on its way to my neighborhood, I noticed the crackers I like have gone up 40 cents, and I kinda got fired up. I felt like telling someone that's ridiculous just like the protestors. And for the record, they're not even fancy crackers. Just plain.
On the way home, I stopped to check things out. Lots of cops and chanting. I couldn't make out what they were saying. They were peaceful, and I went home. I ate a few of those expensive crackers. But only a few.
