You know by now that I consider Regis & Kelly and AC360 to be among the finest hours of television. I learn a lot from those shows - I figure it brings me balance.
So when Anderson guest-hosts with Kelly, it's by far the best hour on television. This week Anderson taught us about Crack Pie. Trust me folks, you need a little Crack Pie in your life.
I encourage everyone living in New York to stop by Momofuko Bakery (13th Street/2nd Ave.) and get yourself a piece. And while you're there, get some Compost Cookies. I've had both this morning, and I'm pretty sure that I'm high.
Considering that I'm about to hop on a plane, let's hope it doesn't wear off at 35,000 feet. And if anyone in my family is reading this today, I'm bringing home a dozen cookies. (Well, really 9. I gave two to my neighbor, and I ate the other.)
Someone asked me yesterday if I've made New Year's Resolutions. I was stumped. I really hadn't thought about it. But this morning when I picked up my laundry from my Korean Lady Friend, I was inspired. She likes me, and I like her. When her husband tried to get my shirts off the rack, she slapped his hand and said "I know Joshie!"
When I left, she said "Happy Holidays Joshie! Stay young!"
So that's it: my New Year's Resolution is to stay young.
Now...I think I need another cookie.
