Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

Crap Fellas

I just got an e-mail from a colleague in Singapore, and she closed the
e-mail by saying "I'm ready to tackle this issue."

My advice and response to her?

"Stay low and follow through."

That's what I learned from playing football.

Here's what else:

"Run. Never Walk."

That was compounded by Coach McKamy's endless "Hurry!"

And since that rhymes with Murray, I felt extra pressure. Was he calling me
out, or just telling us to get our butt's in gear?

That probably explains why, more often than not, I'm anxious for people to
move along. But my all time favorite?

"Crap Fellas!"

Coach Mac was famous for that. You have to say it in a deep, raspy, and sort
of hoarse voice.

"Crap Fellas!"

Try it. "Crap Fellas!"

Sometimes it's the only thing that works. Use it. Pass it along.

Oh...remember: stay low and follow through.

Let It Shine
