Have you played recently? You should. Leddy organized a family-size game of Duck, Duck, Goose last night. Good stuff. Big laughs. And a good way to close out Christmas 2010.
The house is quiet this morning. I went through my checklist:
- Judd & Jill are happy. Big-eyed Jenna is a beauty. Jake is wild and funny and the first to say "thank you." He called me "Uncle" the other day so we're good.
- Jason & Heather are happy, too. Heather will be a little happier when Number Five arrives in February. And Jason is going nuts on what to name Baby Boy. Madison reads like an all-star, and Leddy is confident and cuddly. Perfect.
- My mom is the best. No question about it. She proves that again and again.
I'm heading back to NYC this afternoon. A few hours remain in 2010. Let's see what 2011 is all about.
