I'm confident in Mayor Bloomberg and his team. The storm drains have been cleared. People in areas that need to be evacuated will be. And if it's necessary to shut down mass transit, they'll decide that on Saturday. I'll stay put. I stocked my kitchen yesterday. And today, my list is short: candles and cash.
My biggest concern right now is that I'll eat all of this food before Irene rolls in on Sunday.
In other news, I had a work dinner last night, and everyone was more than fine last night at Nobu 57. The place was packed, pumped, and popping. Perfect and delicious.
