Somebody's going to break a hip today. I almost did.
Overnight, NYC got covered in a nice sheet of ice. When I stepped onto the sidewalk on the south side of the park, it got nasty. Out of control. I grabbed for the chain link fence. I regrouped. Refocused. And then I decided to take my chances walking in the street. That brought on a whole new set of dangers, but what are you going to do?
My 10-minute walk turned into a 20-minute tip toe. An hour later, the rain has come and it is a big wet mess.
Whoever pissed off Old Man Winter and Mother Nature, please apologize. Can't we all just get along?
