Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

In Remembrance

My memories of 9-11-01 are so vivid.

That morning I turned on the television in my office, and as I was preparing for the day, I glanced over at the set, and saw the live photos being broadcast on Today.

At the time I was a PR man in architecture and engineering, and began dialing some of my contacts to see if they would be available to talk to the media.

I had no idea - no one had any idea - what was really happening.

Then we knew.

Jarret had just moved to New York. I tried to call him, but didn't reach him. His roommate had no idea what was happening. And it was a while before he could get to the phone. Finally hearing his voice was a great thing.

So many people called that day. I remember sitting in front of the television for days. Watching every minute. I was almost 2,000 miles away, and it struck me. I cannot imagine what it was like to be in NYC that day, and for all of you who were, I honor the strength you had to go on. May we always be that resilient.

And for those who lost their lives that day - I think of you.
