I couldn't get out of the office fast enough yesterday. I changed quickly and headed out with no idea where I was going. But I knew I was going. Through a series of timely text messages and phone calls, the plan was set for what turned out to be a great evening. And I might have a small blister on my foot from the long walk. It was worth it.
Let the record show that the first al fresco dining experience of the season was April 11. It's about time.
If you read this blog regularly, and I'm not quite sure why you do, you know that I like to pass on lessons I learn from the wise ones. Yesterday's lesson came from Damion as we were paying for dinner. "Life is an experience, bitch. You gotta pay for the experience."
