I had a couple of lightbulb moments yesterday. Lessons to live by.
The 4 o'clock meeting I attended yesterday was a brilliant example of leadership in the face of a storm. I learned more in those 25 minutes than I ever imagined.
And then last night, I signed up to ride in Melanie's class at Soul Cycle. It was an amazing 45 minutes. She's a mother of three and fighting cancer. She never got on the bike, and yet she managed to take me on the hardest ride and most fulfilling ride yet.
Her lesson? We're only in control of the moment. Choose how to use it.
Somewhere in the middle of that physical challenge, most often when it's the hardest, comes the lesson. That's the soul part.
