Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

O

It's Sunday morning in Bangkok, and I would like to report that I almost
burned down the Conrad Hotel during breakfast.

With respect, I believe it was a faulty toaster that charred two pieces of
toast, smoked the dining room up, and worried a whole lot of the staff.
Right after they decide what to do with that toaster, they should look into
the smoke alarm system because it didn't activate, and it should have. I
finished my breakfast and slipped out quietly.

I've now turned the corner into week two of this trip. Jet lag has been
playing nasty. I've been in three countries, and will make my next stop
tomorrow. I had a chance to get out and do something shopping while I was
here, and I may do some more later this afternoon. My work event yesterday
was a huge success, and now I need to get some other work out of the way
this morning. But what's really on my mind?

Oprah. 25 years. I like that lady, and I'm proud to say I haven't missed
many episodes since she started. What will I watch instead? My DVR list will
not be the same. And all of this talk about who will replace her - forget
it. Just forget it.

Now, Regis and Kelly. Don't you even think about leaving or changing. Or
retiring. I can't take it.
