Sunday - another travel day. Back to Berlin. I enjoyed reading three American newspapers this morning at the airport -- always better than online.
I dropped my bags at the hotel and went to see the German Historical Museum's new exhibit on Hitler. Impressive. Educational. Very crowded. And very interesting to watch Germans see the exhibit. I feel like they were learning as much as I was. Then, I stopped to see a Picasso exhibit - a story on Picasso's life. Another interesting lesson.
Lunch. Then just a slow walk around Berlin. Shops aren't open on Sunday, so people are left to enjoy the cafes. The Germans are perfectly happy to sit outside in the cool weather and let the leaves fall around them. Most restaurants provide blankets with each chair, and it looks like the perfect way to let an afternoon pass. Wish you were here.
It's Monday morning now...just back from a nice hard run in their park. Let's hope week three goes as quickly as the run...
