Hi.

Welcome to my blog.

On the Town

When I wrote Thursday morning's post, I was worried about little Simon. He did not want to wake up. He didn't want to get out of his bed. He didn't want to put on his coat. He didn't want to go. Period. When we got outside, he wanted nothing more than to go in the opposite direction of his daycare. He pulled back once, twice, maybe three times. I persisted. He was not happy. Once he got inside, the staff gave him lots of love, and he wagged his tail.

I left, and I will admit now that I thought about calling the daycare just to check on him. I diagnosed myself as ridiculous and didn't call. When I picked him up after work, he was more than glad to see me and led the way to his apartment building. We played like crazy. He barked. No one got hurt. We broke nothing.

I went for a workout, and when I came back he was ready to play some more. I promised him if he would let me eat, I'd take for him for a walk. He held me to my word, and out we went for a night on the town.

This morning? Sleepy head didn't want to get up and go. I promised him an early pickup and a field trip.

Speaking of field trips - it's a beautiful morning in NYC. I walked to work from 22nd Street. A different view for you and me. Here's a look:
