It's Friday night. 6:10 p.m. The last two days have been a blur. And my right armpit is sweating profusely. That’s a sure sign I’m stressed. Thursday started with a 6 am conference call to Singapore. A whole bunch of stuff happened in the middle, and then I saw Fela!, a new Broadway musical. It’s big, it’s loud, and at one point the whole audience gets up for a dance lesson. Here’s what I learned – when you need some dance moves, just imagine the numbers on a clock. Some times you rock it from 12 to 6, then you might switch up and hit a little 1 to 7. Or 3 – 9. You get the idea. It was fun. But have to say I might have zoned out a little after that. My day ended at 11:45 pm with another call to the same people that I spoke with at 6 am. Today was all about catch up and some fun stuff. I spoke to the newest group of students at the school. It was fun to welcome them to New York, and of course I thought about my first few days, months here. Wow. So much is ahead of them. It’s now 6:28. I’ve had two phone calls. A Skype conversation. Text message exchange, and a feeble attempt at writing this blog. I’m done. It’s a holiday weekend, and I’m heading out. Have fun.
