When the sun set yesterday, things turned festive in the village.
The school had its annual holiday party, and that was fun. Some were naughty. Some were nice. And that's just the way it should be.
We dashed across the street to another party. And on my way to dinner, I saw another friend wrapping up his party. Fun to see him always.
I had dinner at The Lion, and I will say that it's the best meal I've had since I was in Paris. Just the best. And when I wanted to take a pic, the server came from out of nowhere to quickly reprimand me.
She, however, wasn't in the hallway leading to the bathroom, and I was determined to get a pic. The hall is decked -- photographs on the walls and on the ceiling. I wanted to linger to look at each one, and I should've ordered the cheesecake in a pot.
It's Friday. The sun is shining. And that's enough for me.
