Facebook used to be fun. People posted photos, made reference to a trip or something fun they were doing. We got to stay connected. Some of you still do that, and I still enjoy it. Occasionally.
Just this morning, a friend in Florida posted a photo of her children on their last day of school. I thought it was cute, and really wished it was my last day of school. Remember how fun that was?
But here's the deal. I don't give a damn which game you are playing or what article you read on yahoo. And to the four people who sent me a birthday calendar invite this morning, I quietly and respectfully declined it. And to the one who sent me a second request right after I declined your first, I declined you again. It's silly, and I will continue to decline it.
So, enough with the stupid facebook apps. Post a photo. Say or share something interesting. Chances are, you'll know when it's my birthday.
