I made my rounds this weekend, and I'm glad to report that all of my favorite places are just as they should be - perfect. New York City is in full Halloween mode, and that leaves me with the question: Trick or Treat?
You know from my last post that I left a large amount of clothing at the laundry on Friday. To my surprise, they were closed on Saturday for their daughter's wedding. And even more shocking, when I went there this morning at 7 am, my clothes weren't ready. Definitely, this is a trick. Good thing I did some shopping this weekend.
And brrrrrr, it's 44 degrees this morning. Another trick.
My body is not completely adjusted, and it's tricking me to waking up at 4 am. Sometimes I make it until 5. But this is helping me get caught up on the TV I missed, and I'm glad to say that I whizzed through lots of shows this weekend. That was definitely a treat.
And while I'm on the topic of TV - you should watch Brothers & Sisters. The Walker family is a treat.
Another treat? Read The Help. Really. I finished the book two weeks ago, and I'm still thinking about those ladies from Mississippi.
My weekend was such a treat that it tricked me into not prepping for my day of back-to-back meetings. But aren't tricks sometimes the treats you need?
