Tuesday, July 15 - All of this running has done at least one thing - helped me sleep. The last two nights I have slept for a solid eight hours. And that's unusual. Enjoyable though! It's easy now to talk to my family. Email helps me stay in touch with my friends. But today, I realized I miss Regis and Kelly. I've watched that show for so long now, I'm wondering what they've been up to. This morning I had to go to the U.S. Embassy to get more pages added to my passport. Not bad for a boy from Cooper, TX. The embassy is very imposing. And there's something about a guard in uniform holding a big machine gun that makes you think twice about everything. Oddly enough, it was very easy. In and out. Twenty minutes. Then my brother Jason called to tell me he received the shirts from Korea. (That took less than a week to make and deliver!) He liked each one of them and now wants 10 more! Mr. Lee will be so happy. 4-mile run today. Thunder and lighting kept me inside today. The run on the treadmill wasn't so bad. And the Nike i-pod gizmo I have recording all of my miles indicated I hit a personal best. A recording of Lance Armstrong congratulated me.
